M107 .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle

I saw a picture of this weapon on the Armchair General site and was very impressed. The scope makes this weapon extremely effective against Al Quaida in urban areas I am sure. Does anyone know of the details of this weapon. I know it is clip fed and those .50 cal rounds are the same as those used in the same caliber machine gun (going all the way back to WW2). They can rip through light armor and do a little harm to human targets. study
