Just got back from a Field Ex.

I was gone the past three days or so for a machine gun shoot up in Quantico, VA. We got to bust out the M-2, M-240B, and the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon). We were shooting the qualification course of fire for each weapon system. I got to shoot the Ma-deuce and SAW, I love the power when shooting the .50 cal, we were shooting at paper targets about 10 meters away mounted on pallets held up by engineers stakes. The API (Armor Piercing Incendiary) rounds would start burning the wood, and one of the stakes was actually chopped in two, it was quite awesome.
